High to be Seen by the Crowd (here)

Sunday Whirl Wordle:
brave court fail frame later mind
party safe support tricks virus wages

Brave insight into his frame of mind
Revealed a tendency to court disaster
Tricks of trade of a party in connivance
Arsenal akin to virus of silent killer

Felt safe in numbers he sought to secure
He went headlong to foment trouble
Not forgetting the wages of sin to endure
Should he fail he ought to be able

At a later date for him to ride the storm
To support a cause to strengthen his case
As a consequence those whom in alignment
Ought to stand by him for a strong base

  1. "Ought to stand by him for a strong base" - I guess this would be where he courts disaster. Just because they "ought" to ,doesn't mean they will!

  3. that firm foundation is developed by one or more deciding they want to be there...and if you are going to court disaster, its better to face it with someone willing...

  4. To join the protest or not - that is so often the question.

  5. I am all for speaking my mind but to protest is another thing.

  6. Informal leadership..yet calculated..in a way..i think we all have a tendency to need leadership of some kind so can he really be blamed for wanting to persuade people willing to get swept along..whatever the message..thoughtful write

  15. Oh I love that phrase 'court disaster'.....that's exactly what the youths do and foment
trouble but this is mandatory or else we would rot....

  16. I like the juxtaposition of the photo with your last line. Strong base, strong back...both are necessary at times. Idealistic youth must have a space and time in which to air their views and become a part of the dialectic.

  20. Hank,

The desire to participate and add one's voice, is sometimes not always easy. The world is awash with causes and the rights of what to do for the best...Excellent usage of those words Hank:)

  21. A strong write, Hank. I am especially inspired when I see students raising their voices, as they tend to see things that need improvement quite clearly - the the Status Quo is a formidable foe.

  23. This so reminded me of an instance when me & dad were having our dinner we turned on the tv & we were so flabbergasted upon seeing my older brother appearing on the news with friends heading a rally of student activists. I don't know if i could ever did that. I'm quite of a reserved type. I watch & listen more than speak. Thanks for the read Hank. Smiles.
