to prove it is not a fable

                                                                                 "Rocket" by Brad Phillips
Image: Don't have to be
a rocket scientist to prove
he is not off his rocker (here)

The 6 given rhyming words:
able fable cable label table stable

does he expect to be able
to prove it is not a fable
not having within means a strong cable
but just so to exert a label

not anywhere ascending from a table
just to insist a mind contending to be stable

poetic justice a natural safeguard

                                                                                                   Author: Isiwal
Image:  A Sharing of Experiences
just like in a Debate (here)

the 12 given words:
laugh ritual gift tongue turning body
elders poem die met ground taught

to laugh or to cry
a ritual a measure of a gift
one to meddle with a forked tongue
turning healthy debate hot
an uproar of anger

can others respond in the positive
to ease the tension
body language accorded some assertions
elders can snap up the opportunity
they always do for wiser elements
merit a thought

poetic justice a natural safeguard
no more a do and die
but given a fair hearing
it would have met certain grounds
for those good deeds taught
in days gone by

feeling safe all within the four walls
who is there to sneak in uninvited
his domain is a hideaway enthralled
never to leave it empty unattended

privacy supreme no reason to roam
under present circumstances, he knows
the unemployed may just trade freedom
for full stomach in a room* without windows

he knew he had tried in earnest

                                                                                              Author Creative Ignition
Image: Muddled (here)

the 11 of 12 given words:
foliage earnest
aeromancy (prediction of future events
from observation of weather conditions).
hamster running birch sleep
hesitate smoke awake shoes

through the foliage of challenges
unwittingly hiding his vision
he lamented his misfortune
he knew he had tried in earnest

now his senses were stultified
if only he could invoke his skills in aeromancy
it was most unfortunate
his knowledge rudimentarily acquired
were now further muddled
emerging rain clouds dealt a cruel blow
he could only sigh

his choices limited
he was restrained in contemplation
suddenly he spied a hamster running up a birch tree
that brought some painful realization
he should get out of this seemingly deep sleep
and start running himself

he hesitated for some while
the smoke then cleared
he was now fully awake
he grabbed his shoes
he had to move fast
he had now made his decision
he had a fighting chance!

the 12 given words:
delicious eye graduate concentrate
inflate no trip fly world go sing true

delicious to the eye
on a graduated scale
of one to ten
it won hands down

to concentrate a contention
in shades of purple
that invokes an inflated ego

no necessity for a trip to fly
around the world but
to go and sing along
in true fashion for a noble cause

a move to open up the power

Image: To pry for an opening (here)

the 11 of 12 given words:
choice move power hear seek
aeolian (of or caused by the wind; wind-blown.)
confusion break harness severity
scrupulous (having scruples or showing a strict regard for what one considers right)

with one foot forward a choice
a move to open up the power
inherent in an alert mind to rejoice
to hear and to seek an opening, a door

a path in the aeolian form
swaying in midair unashamedly regal
in a bid to unravel a confusion
where is the opening, a portal

give it a break a right to harness
the severity unduly without feelings
the bane of a clouded mind in tears
an unscrupulous urge to have sent it reeling

no dough with little food
locked down facing not the wall
but sunken looks of hungry kids
bleeds the heart
when will it end
how will it end?

11 of 12 given words
breathe distance droplets kill liberty
dance meet shy ignorant loser see

breathe easy to last the distance
droplets that filled the air floating leisurely
could kill in a blink as a consequence
just how deadly it could be

the liberty to dance around it the very instance
deflecting the woes contending to meet
shy of physical contact but of social distance
not to be ignorant of the requirement not to greet

not a loser but being wise to the new normal
to see that none would falter
the better the will to avoid a reversal
or clusters would readily bid to move faster

rest assured then
with such good friends
giving their time
no skies were grey

to nudge a thought for idea creations

Image:  Putting creative
ideas on paper (here)

It manifests itself in meager forms
One's belief of not wanting to  conform
To care for the small details is vital
Lest one is led astray in undesirables

Let's recap on what is expected
Creative maverick adamant in being selected
Spare a thought then, to be counted
Relating sparingly reasons for an onslaught

Let's talk of simple care for details as a refresher
Playthings of poets, writers but artists in particular
Pen and watercolor the classic tools disregarded
Delve into it to get at the ideas to develop

A sketch-book pregnant with information
Line drawings with color washes enhanced
Journals of travels, sketch on site at real time
Create a personal style and improve on designs

Adept at moving sketched objects around
Liberty to create a well framed composition
Vanishing points and perspectives affords reality
Creates broadsides and looking down streets at infinity
Start and conjure little things with rough details
To complete at later time for what these entail

the grace of a flyaway beauty

                                                                                              Author :KENPEI
Image: Bewitching purple
in a Purple Patch (here)

11 of 12 given words:
dashed grace flyaway shoulder trucks
lanes scatter perhaps bounty grateful three

I'll be dashed the grace of a flyaway beauty
Right off the road shoulder where the trucks roll by
Some of the busy lanes this part of the country
To scatter unheeded as nature would freely glorify

Perhaps aligned for a bounty given fair weather
Grateful to be picked out from variety of color
All by itself for three's a crowd amid the glitter
Lest the frown of an unsuspecting visualizer

Planted all to view and to endearingly wonder
Appreciative with all others lovingly together?

politeness and friendliness

                                                                                   Author:Butters and beans
Image: relaxed not
sullen or angry (here)

never in his wildest dreams had he known
seen to be a witness of vanity
demonstrated by the sullen who frowned

though devoid of acts of indignity
angry and intensely incoherent
blabbering to no end unashamedly

why insist to willfully abandon
politeness and sense of good upbringing
and forgetting judicious indulgence

shouts of 'simpleton' just kept on ringing
much to embarrassment of those present
ethics and etiquette thrown to the winds

painful and sorely it was a lesson
to be enlightened sane and elegant

Image: Rushing to be a Winner (here)

Being alone and feeling so down
Opportunity emerged barely unannounced
Caught by the neck sans much sound
Made to work that many rounds
Was it not the way in this lockdown?

Productivity could rightly overwhelm
But why were there chorus of laments
Surprised by blessings newly found
Not unlike a lottery winner bewildered
Instead with so much in hand flustered
Many confused angered and frustrated

Not the special breed  of creative minds
Who long discovered what to do with time
They searched the realms of imagination
Worked on their efforts and observations

Tickled by the nature of discovery
With flashes of story-telling and poetry
Joy rightly exposed within the community
Lucky by chance bloggers grinning merrily
Lots to do but time limiting awkwardly

Ostensibly a claim to fame

                                                                                                Author Raluca Caragea
Image: "A distant future" (here)

The rhyming words given are:
flame frame same claim game blame

The blame game
It is all the same
Faceless but just the frame
Never to reveal a name
Not intended to directly aim
Pointing a finger at a dame
Not wanting to tame
Nor viciously maim

Just a sly cause to defame
To fan the flame of shame

Ostensibly a claim to fame

What then it became
Just an excuse so lame!
A satisfying run to sustain
Not unlike staring into a Great Dane
Fiercely without disdain
Perhaps let it remain
A false alarm without acclaim
None to regret none to explain!
