I don't owe anyone a living!

the 12 given words:
treat alone breath harm tell honey
call pass late shot tower fiddle

What a treat!
To be sitting atop the table all alone
Seeing the world go leisurely by

It may take your breath away
Seeing an unusual stance
But it is not in harm's way
to any one
In fact, even the duck is able to tell
That I'm a safe bet to be with

How I sit is my bother, honey
You may call it a passing fancy
but it is none of anyone's concern!

It may be late in the day
but as a parting shot let us say
that I need not tower over others
to earn my keeps
nor do I need to fiddle over their affairs

I don't owe anyone a living

  1. He sounds pretty happy with living his life as he pleases. Cool, Hank.

  2. When a soul is at peace with itself, even the ducks feel it. :-D

  3. Well even I can see it is an easier fit for him there rather than squeezing his legs under the table. The duck however is a freeloader a destitute begging for food as he is too tired to look for his own.

  4. Now this is someone who knows his own mind! Good one, Hank.

  5. Why not indeed! A great place to sit and find a different view point!

  6. A great verse with an equally great message Hank.

  7. Knows what he wants and sticks to it, way to be.

  8. It’s good to have that freedom.

  9. No one to bother him, he can sit where he wants.

  10. A good way to be....know what and how you want and then do it!
