A Grain of Imagination

                                                                                    Artist: Vincent van Gogh
Image: Three Sunflowers (here)

It just takes a little time
Quiet moment of splendor
In some seconds sublime
To lovingly dream in wonder

Far away let it just wander
In likes of heaven’s expanse
Surfing timeless fervor
Akin to free falling sense

Creating pictures captured
Of one’s yearnings anew
Something better enraptured
Even of kaleidoscopic few

Let the imagination run wild
Little grain transforms into silos
A masterpiece easily profiled
Of reputation sans minnows

All things begin as a little grain of something, I think. For me, this piece conjured forth the biblical verse:

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there . '

And you’ve selected one of my favorite paintings to illustrate. Lovely post.

  17. it is fun to let the imagination run wild...and to really capture it you need to give it time and let it go..unleash what is in you.....

  18. Nice write, Hank. I am glad that most times our imaginations see nice things for us. It is pretty scary when they dream up horror scenarios for us.
