Slow and guarded but
given to sudden bursts of
movements to music
Arms raised in slow
dance
moves dressed in preponderance
of whites and flowing
graceful elegance
until the devil came by
with boisterous make
bean throwing to help
appease the devil within
a sketch at the end
Written for Chev’s CARPE DIEM Special #50 with Kikaku's 'Kagura Dance at Night'
I sure wish I can watch this dance one day ~

I like this chain of thought. It fits the subject beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI want to throw beans at the devil.
ReplyDeleteI would think that fast and furious dances, rather than slow and guarded ones, would be more appropriate at devil chasers!
