Grins
Happy
as can be
Wonderful smiles
And truly it is very infectious
There are many things to worry about
Make no mistake
Smiling wide
will solve
them!

Smile
Easy
does it, man
And no holds barred
But many tried and failed miserably
There is sure way to stake reality?
Yes, certainly
Open arms
sincere
hugs!

Note: A Tetractys a poetic form comprising at least 5 lines of 1 2 3 4 and 10
syllables (total of 20). It can be written with more than one verse but must
follow suit with an inverted syllable count

  2. That's a style I'm not familiar with. Then again, I'm not a real poet. I'm a hack who writes stuff that pretends to be poetry.

  4. And so it is with puzzle masters, I think, practicing for life's curves, modeling enjoyment and laughter, entertaining us more and more as we age. The form enhances the meaning.

  9. Right on, Timeteo! This picture of their mutual admiration, while all the time also having a friendly rivalry, is charming. I'm sure they are/were both deep down driven men, but it never seemed to get in Steve's way... RIP... and Bill and Melinda Gates' philanthropy is scary-brilliant.

Thanks for a lovely tribute to two of our greats, Hank. Peace, Amelita

  10. Interesting style...not one I know, and difficult, I think, to make flow as well as you were able to do. Smiles!
