Grins
Happy
as can be
Wonderful smiles
And truly it is very infectious
There are many things to worry about
Make no mistake
Smiling wide
will solve
them!
them!
Smile
Easy
does it, man
And no holds barred
But many tried and failed miserably
There is sure way to stake reality?
Yes, certainly
Open arms
sincere
hugs!

smiling is def infectuous and probably the easiest gift we can give to another...and it brightens the world just a bit..smiles.
ReplyDeleteThat's a style I'm not familiar with. Then again, I'm not a real poet. I'm a hack who writes stuff that pretends to be poetry.
ReplyDeleteOne can sure go a mile, with just a smile
ReplyDeleteAnd so it is with puzzle masters, I think, practicing for life's curves, modeling enjoyment and laughter, entertaining us more and more as we age. The form enhances the meaning.
ReplyDeleteInteresting form! and yes, happiness- contagious :)
ReplyDeleteObama and Putin need to see this poem.
ReplyDeleteSmiles make the world go round
ReplyDeleteNice work, Hank, and the topic is great...smiling doesn't hurt anyone.

Love Timoteo's response! Yes, and they had a lot to smile about...
ReplyDeleteRight on, Timeteo! This picture of their mutual admiration, while all the time also having a friendly rivalry, is charming. I'm sure they are/were both deep down driven men, but it never seemed to get in Steve's way... RIP... and Bill and Melinda Gates' philanthropy is scary-brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely tribute to two of our greats, Hank. Peace, Amelita
Interesting style...not one I know, and difficult, I think, to make flow as well as you were able to do. Smiles!
