10 of 12 given words:
nod gradual mumble gradual
vaunt (verb) (to boast or brag)
asleep scantily tragedy tradition
cyan (a greenish-blue color used in photography and color printing)
Koi no Yokan (Japanese) (the sense one can have upon first meeting a person that the
two of you are going to fall in love)

a nod a gradual mumble
a vaunt regarding his prowess
yet sound asleep still dressed
scantily in pajamas
dreaming in cyan surroundings
lulled in a Koi no Yokan
with an angel of his imagination
all too familiar a ritual
some mornings

a tragedy of sorts
why?

he went against the tradition
of not washing his feet prior to
jumping to bed the night before

is it true or just old wife's tale?
he..he..he!

This Old Wives Tale has escaped me but it must be good. I'll have to check to see if there is a compilation of them around.

    1. Also meant to comment that your dog photo, cute, reminds me of the bulldog that died in the United Plane luggage compartment yesterday. May he RIP.

  13. Six children... I remember days when I was just to exhausted to take a shower or wash my feet before bed. Things have improved for me now :) as 3 of 6 are out the house (not pocket book though :) and the others are much older ... but at one point I had 5 children under 10 years of age! Imagine that.

    1. Gosh, Marge! You rightly qualify as a super-hero Wonder Woman.Even though 50% left the nest but not 50% of the financial help dished out. Very true. Mothers qualify as an unsung super-hero for sure. The same the world over!

  14. Ah... another old wives tale...tail? I know cats are very clean... but dogs... I think their owners need to be more aware of padded paws. A fun read. :)
