Led many astray

Unsuspectingly
Entangled in the branches
Spent force deflated

Rough winds of summer
Quite unfriendly by nature
Led many astray

  4. There is more than one meaning in this poem, Hank. It can be read on different levels.

  5. I enjoyed the metaphor I found here....when we are led astray we can end up tangled in those branches.
