    Irkutsk is sooo re mote, it good for them that China relations now allow interchange. I've been to Moscow, then followed the river path to St. Petersburg.

    Also I have been to the Ukraine and to Romania and Bulgaria. Too bad they all stayed in isolation so long. I am sure that included Irkutsk.
