I love them too much to think
they'll melt by noon - Alexey Andreyev
the snowflakes return
prayers met with much relief
timely happenings
unseen hands working
global warming results in
weather confusion - Hank's
Note: The goal of
this Carpe Diem Special is to write
a new haiku inspired by that of Alexey Andreyev’s above
The weather is sure confused but it can keep the snowflakes
ReplyDeletei think it is only going to get worse...and the weather more varied before...well i guess we dont know what comes next but i dont think it is going to be pretty...
ReplyDeleteA lovely success! As for weather here, we too are on a roller coaster of rides!
ReplyDeletethere's weather confusion for sure..and even though some of them have their beauty i fear that nasty stuff awaits us within the next years..
ReplyDeleteThere IS beauty in first snowflakes for sure, but in my area thi year it seems that there are WAY too many days of 'first snowflakes.'
ReplyDeletePrayers met - i like this, prayers, snowflakes this really works.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty to look at but if there's a lot, they sure are messy ~ Happy Tuesday Hank ~
ReplyDeleteI quite like the "unseen hands working" detail. It was rather poignant. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.

ReplyDeleteGlobal warming
ReplyDeleteweather's confusion

Snowflakes can be beautiful floating down but, I think mother nature
ReplyDeletehas taken a new course and it worries me Hank..
very inventive with the haiku...I find it such a difficult form to write...you do it very well.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does seem like the climate is changing and it certainly is confusing! Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteAnd an excellent job you made of it. nice one.
ReplyDeleteNot only is the weather confused, but many people are confused these days as well!
ReplyDeleteSpecial 1 and Special 2
