Nice, I love haiku. Great job here, I always enjoy seeing these haiku strings that can work great alone but add to their brilliance when they are strung together and therefore add to the overall combined piece. Great job. Thanks
Something about animal lust and wild love here...about youth and it's unpredictability....like the two tigers fighting....tight words here....enjoyed very much
the trick is to hold onto that zeal as the young lovers move forward for sure...a little wildness never hurts as well...smiles.
ReplyDeleteha i return the favor ....first....smiles.
ReplyDeleteWild frenzied zeal...nice..great picture as well :)
ReplyDeletenice...i like the holding back until the time is right..but then...it can't be wild enough..smiles
ReplyDeleteAh, youth. There's no doubt in my mind, Hank. Youth is definitely wasted on the young. I could use a bit of that wildness in my old-lady self.

i like feeling young, but we learn so much more when we are older
ReplyDeleteThis has serious tension, a wonderful piece! The moment is paused and then bam!
ReplyDeletePowerful...love this! :)
Kind of sad when you think about it this way. But passion can be revived. You did an excellent job with the comparison.

Ah, may that zeal last long! And a bit of wildness is def good for the soul!
ReplyDeleteGreat in combination with that picture! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is good. Did the picture inspire the poem or did you write and then find the perfect picture? Either way it is great.
ReplyDeleteThe zeal can be hard to hold on to but with the right one and work it can surely come due.
ReplyDeleteIn all of us there is always, waiting in the shadows, the tremor of the wild, kept in check... but only just.

ReplyDeleteI'm now stuck on the idea of making love in a tiger enclosure. Darwin would not approve.
ReplyDeleteOne of your best, I think - keep the roll going!
ReplyDeleteGetting that wild zeal to last is definitely more difficult as we get older, but thankfully not impossible! Love this.
ReplyDeleteWildness is important aspect of love but also of creativity. The form and picture enhance your message.
