Human Nature

Procrastination

Urn full of knick knacks
Storage of items not used
Life is just as true

Change for the better
Always possible but then
Just human nature

Beyond redemption
Bane of the disciplined soul
Procrastination

Submitted for Haiku Heights with prompt #95- Urn

  3. Oh procrastination can creep up one us all
But sometimes it is needed at ones hall
    Other times not
    Letting the soul rot
When we should have a ball

  5. Very scary word, Hank. Everything in my house is full of something. It makes me crazy! Just thinking about it is enough to give me a headache and send me to have a nap.
This human's nature is beyond redemption, and so is my husband's, when it comes to getting rid of things.

  8. Dear All,
It is agreed then. It's an affliction that affects everyone. Knick knacks or whatever are always there. We have the urge to get rid of them but in our heart of hearts we treasure them. We dread to make the move. A friend gave a tip in terms of time frame. If you don't touch it for a whole year then you'll not miss it if you get rid of it!
