A Lost Soul


Hope and A Future

It still lingers on
Her image rubs on my mind
Love is in the air

How very cruel
Infatuation on her
Numbed my soul real hard

A famous actress
An uncanny resemblance
To one dear to me

Whose love is no more
Life snuffed sudden and tragic
Brought me to the brink

Lord, show me the path
To a future full of hope
For this broken self
