Image: The Sky's the Limit (here)the 12 given words:
wind sky rising many farm usual
find grass freak wrap twice stars
the wild winds of change
opening up the sky painfully
anger in check not rising despite the pain
not wanting to upset the many
life on the farm goes on as usual
one may find in the grass a freak
thumbing its nose so casual
that wraps it up but not imposing the big stick
some little critters can be playful
having met twice one is considered a friend
stars in the making being so artful
human nature is not easy to understand

Human nature is not easy to understand - that is so true Hank.
ReplyDeleteHuman nature sure isn't easy indeed. Have to watch some of those critters in the grass.
ReplyDeleteLove that closing line! I also love the small creatures in the grass!
ReplyDeleteYou have sketched a scene - that plays to the title of the piece, brilliantly - and infused it with nuance that culminates in the closing line. Lovely job on this, Hank!
ReplyDeleteJust ignore that one thumbing critter and make friends with the playful ones - go after the people of joy not anger.
ReplyDeleteI suppose you can infuse mystery and adventure into the nature of human, Well of course depending on your mood. I enjoyed this clever little debate on dealing with change
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Hank

Making a friend with a critter sounds like fantastic fairy tale fun. Artful stars shining. Last line, so true.
ReplyDeleteI like the playfulness, and even a sweetness in the mood.
ReplyDeleteThe most unpredicatable of creatures. I would steer clear of them if I could, but then I looked in a mirror and I had been changed into one of them! That just goes to show how bad they are.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, human nature can be unpredictable. Profound write, Hank! 💞
ReplyDeleteA wonderful write, Hank. Human nature indeed, cannot be fathomed.
ReplyDeleteSo true - human nature is NOT easy to understand.
ReplyDeleteThat closing line really sums it up perfectly Hank! A wonderful capturing of the photo and use of all those words. You always inspire me. Thank you for participating over the Sunday Muse! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh yea....don't forget to link over at the Muse to. :-)
