a split in opinions in a dichotomy of ideas

to use the synonyms in a poem:
fork  - diverge split dichotomy
cushion -  buffer bulwark
time - duration era occasion
roof  - ceiling palate
water - saliva tears spray sprinkle

a split in opinions a dichotomy of ideas
to buffer divergent views in a diverse crowd
an occasion  to ponder without fears
that's democracy palatable for a shout

perhaps a sprinkle of dissension
as a bulwark to buffer a raucous reaction
in an era of progressive governance
for which tears shed are an indignation

  2. I've never heard of this prompt site Hank. A split in opinions often causes rifts in relationships. Family and friends are now torn by differences.

  4. Plenty of dissension around these days, both sides polarized. Sigh. Well stated, Hank!

  6. Things sure can go many a way when the ranks don't rank up.

  7. Maybe we need more than a mere sprinkle of dissension to right the wrongs in our world.
