Bubbling with enthusiasm
Bubbly baby born to please
Gregarious and an extrovert
by nature out to garner
support for fun and laughter

With infectious smiles wry
on occasions but reaching
out to all and sundry

Can one be faulted not to be
won over?
(44 words)

For De's Quadrille 3 at d'Verse, a Micro Fiction of not
exceeding 44 words and to include the word 'bubbles' and
Marian's The Tuesday Platform at Real Toads

  8. If I'm understanding correctly, you're saying you're NOT won over, even though everyone else seems to be. Perhaps I'm misreading. But if I'm correct, I think this jumps to a totally different level of cleverness, which I dig.

"Bubbly baby born to please" ... That was/is definitely me. Something inside makes some of us feel desperate to "win people over." It's really not a good trait, even though it seems like it would be.

  10. Bubbly people wear on me. I doubt their sincerity.
Smiles are infectious I do believe. Sincere smiles.
Nicely written, states your case well.

  15. I'm not one of those bubbly people, but I try to understand what makes them "bubble". Thank goodness we are all different. Bubbly babies? Now that is just irresistible.

  16. You can see right through that, right? And still have empathy. Some cups bubble over. :)
