Bubbling with enthusiasm
Bubbly baby born to please
Gregarious and an extrovert
by nature out to garner
support for fun and laughter
With infectious smiles wry
on occasions but reaching
out to all and sundry
Can one be faulted not to be
won over?

ReplyDeleteNo indeed.. there is bubbles that we love to be infected from... Big smile from me.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully written, and the image adds that little bit extra to the poem. Nice.
ReplyDeleteAh... That bubbly personality coming through!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent write Hank, lovely words.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Those bubbles will sure infect all and have them smiling along
ReplyDeleteInfectious smiles are indeed catching. :) I love this.
ReplyDeletenicely done Hank & love that pic too :)
ReplyDeleteif he is cute & bubbly, then no, smiles ~
ReplyDeleteIf I'm understanding correctly, you're saying you're NOT won over, even though everyone else seems to be. Perhaps I'm misreading. But if I'm correct, I think this jumps to a totally different level of cleverness, which I dig.
ReplyDelete"Bubbly baby born to please" ... That was/is definitely me. Something inside makes some of us feel desperate to "win people over." It's really not a good trait, even though it seems like it would be.
A strong write, Hank.
ReplyDeleteBubbling with enthusiasm - that just sounds like fun
ReplyDeleteBubbly people wear on me. I doubt their sincerity.
ReplyDeleteSmiles are infectious I do believe. Sincere smiles.
Nicely written, states your case well.
..
ah, babies ! ~
ReplyDeleteIt's hard not to smile at bubbles or bubbliness. (Or bubs.)
ReplyDeleteOne can't be faulted at all. Some bubbliness is just irresistible. ;-D

ReplyDeleteBubbling with enthusiasm is definitely the way to go, Hank! I enjoyed this.
ReplyDeleteI'm not one of those bubbly people, but I try to understand what makes them "bubble". Thank goodness we are all different. Bubbly babies? Now that is just irresistible.
