Tenacity of Wild Flowers

Dancing in the winds
Provocatively bidding
Of youthful vigor

Of varied colors
Ubiquitously bathing
The wild countryside

Squirming sheepishly
Upon nightfall and slowly
shriveled in the cold

Assuming vigil
in the morning unflinching
innocence of youth
