Across the Wilderness

Travelling across
the Siberian wilderness
in spiritual bliss

Coldness I feel out
there but warmness exudes from
just her mere presence

Aleph, I proceed
Jubilance in feel for I
am pensive in mood

Note: Retracing the footsteps of Paulo Coelho who writes in
the first person of his journey in Russia in his novel, Aleph

Written for Chev's CARPE DIEM #363 with  -  Aleph, the journey begins..

  7. All good wishes for 2014 Hank ... you've caught the romance of the Trans Siberian Railroad in a nice trio of haiku. Brings good vibes to my mind ...

  11. Really love that first haiku...surprising since most associate Siberia with desolation. To be blissful is to be oblivious to that around you. Well done.
