Change For the Better!

Festivities over been through almost
Just a few more days to the ensuing year
On reflection how luxuriant had it been?

New year resolutions that malfunctioned
Getting on in years slowly but surely
Nothing macabre maimed the thinking
Still writing and magnanimous in attitudes
Healthy but provocative in thoughts

Change! wrench away on the brains!

    1. Thanks Claudia! A fresh new canvas, yes the poet and artist speaking. You're an inspiration on both counts. Difficult to emulate but I'll try!

  5. Isn't it interesting to see that despite the malfunctioning we are still ready to make new resolutions? Hopefully we will keep some of them. Enjoy your end of year, Hank!

  10. New year, new day, new breath, change is always possible and in many cases probable… maybe not the changes we wanted or expected, but changes that offer us a chance to learn something we didn't understand well before. Wishing you a very happy New Year Hank:-)
