Hummingbirds

Ornate creation
Adapted to nature’s wants
A long narrow beak

Sauntering flower
to flower wings flapping fast
but stationary

In seach of nectar
propagating the process
of pollination

  3. Yeah they come so fast
    And then they are past
    Flying to and fro
Are surely a sight to see though

  4. The three flow together so seamlessly, the fact that each, on its own, is a well-written haiku adds dimension and charm.

  6. Beautiful. We are inundated with them here and during the winter in the desert. They never cease to amaze me. Claudia, come for a visit. I'd love to share them.

  8. The little humming bird does so much and goes so far. They pass through here, Southeast Texas, on their way to really way far South.

Very nice set of verses, as usual.
    Thank you.

    The latter we mostly see
    at

  11. Very nice. I especially like the image of "sauntering flower to flower." That's just what they do, as if by magic.
