At great sacrifice!

Carried a burden
Shared knowledge to save others
At great sacrifice

Noble endeavor
No hesitation to help  
sustenance to life

Note: Hunter-boy had knowledge of a great flood
To reveal it would turn him to stone. He revealed it
anyway at great sacrifice to himself but to save lives
