this being human is a given
it gnaws at a mother's instinct
in the family way not that often
but she is given the way to think
wonders of creations of little creatures
are accorded with enough intelligence
to care and love as a human teaches
with blessings of such brilliance
little ones snuggle up to the goodness
of teats now blessed for good reasons
mother and the broods in all readiness
the bid to survive being only human
