LOVE your final stanza, Hank!
ReplyDeleteA very strong and wise piece, Hank. Sometimes, it takes a lot of time and effort to understand others.
ReplyDeleteA great way to describe confusion, Hank, and an important lesson to learn about anything – there are no shortcuts.
ReplyDeleteNice one Hank
ReplyDeleteHave a good week
much love...
Well done, Hank! You got that right! Most of us men seem to learn the hard way... maybe it matches our hard heads!!
ReplyDeleteNo... you have to do it right... there is no way back but to untie the knots.
ReplyDeleteThere's that feeling when you get to the middle of a knot and know you are on your way to untangling it. The same goes for life, relationships but I think we get impatient..and yes, those shortcuts never work!
ReplyDeleteA great wise verse Hank, a joy to read.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
