wind jostles the scarecrow
near the heavy-hung cornstalks
the summer is spent                                              (Jessica)
change to what the Fall offers
respite before the shivers

wind jostles the scarecrow
near the heavy-hung cornstalks
the summer is spent                                              (Jessica)
heart flutters when heat withdrew
soul given to fun and joy

Chev at CARPE DIEM with Tan Renga Challenge #1. We are to complete
the second stanza with a 7-7 to Jessica's Haiku

  3. Not much in the way of shivers here in the desert, but we do get a most welcome respite now from the intense heat of summer. This is a time of year when even a scarecrow would dance!
