  4. Nicely done! I like how you let line one be the fragment and you allowed the 2nd line to be your phrase. I too found the natural break in this haiku to be at the end of line one.

    1. Absolutely Lolly! In fact reading out loud has more impact. Read the first line and pause for the break. Then read the second and third without a break.It enhances the appreciation. Thanks for emphasizing it Ma'am!

  6. Good practice for the haiku, Hank. You did good in the Tankas below too.
    I use Tanka when a haiku or Senyru won't quite say what I want to say. It adds two more lines.
