Overcast clouds surged
slave to widening movements
to provide cover
Diffused heat enhanced
relief of those sheltered with
quivering delight
Gathered in radiance
repugnant of shimmering
feel of annoyance
Wretched the feel of
letdown of those entrusted
who failed the paltry
Written for Leo's Haiku Heights #210 with prompt - shimmer-
Excellent collection as always.

ReplyDeletegreat haiku. the second one was my favorite!
ReplyDelete"failed the paltry"? But before I got stumped I enjoyed the cloud cover reducing the heat, limiting the exposure to sun or anyone.
