Caterpillar

Soft tissue wriggly
Spurned by the squeamish,welcomed
food chain provider

Vibrant,immersed in
myriads of colors,unfazed
eventual winner

The ugly duckling
story repeated,rebuffed
but hailed as beauty

  16. How beautiful, I kinda like the caterpillar too, he's not totally ugly, although compared to the butterfly...yeah. It never ceases to amaze me the intricacies of nature, thank you for a delightful poem.
