Endlessly Waiting
It’s been a week since
The handyman is not here
It is a problem
He had asked to stop
There are some other matters
He has to do first
I am still waiting
The woes of the homeowner
Is a job half done!

The handyman can ... only when he is present!
ReplyDeleteugh no kidding...and having to look at it every day...
ReplyDeleteHey, K, maybe you should be the handyman?
ReplyDeleteA handyman isn't very handy I suspect if he doesn't want to be handy. But, hmmm, but still u wait. Enjoyed this much.

ReplyDelete..Tess is right... maybe you should be the handyman... less costly, isn't it? hehe.. 'tis really tiring to wait for something/someone you're not so sure coming.. aww..

I agree... its really tough without the handyman ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah can almost make you pop a vein, hate half done jobs.
ReplyDeleteWhat every homeowner knows...
ReplyDeleteLOL, so familiar.
ReplyDeleteA job half-done ... soooo frustrating! Your title says it all!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting-- would love to see you put more "flesh" on the handy man--0 Do you know Robert Frost's poem The Handy Man? check it out! xxxj
ReplyDeleteOh how I relate to your lament!
ReplyDeleteI'm not very handy, so I too wait for the 'man' who arrives too late.
ReplyDeleteBeen there. Know it well! Great response.
ReplyDeletedon't we know this all too well!! Hope he show up soon! :)

Tradesman can be like that. Has he called yet?
ReplyDeleteSounds all to familiar!
ReplyDeleteAnna ;o]
We've all been there! DIY where possible!
ReplyDeleteUh-oh been there...sometimes handymen are not so handy, unless we can do things ourselves...lol!
ReplyDeleteWithout poking fun at a frustrating situation (been there!), my first thought was 'I just want a man, who cares if he's handy?'... Not a very high-brow response, but still... Your poem evoked feelings! *smile*
