ReplyDeleteTrue.. we carry our prisons in our hands now!
ReplyDeleteI still dont have a cell phone. Am often the only one looking around, lol.
ReplyDeleteThe hard hitting truth of today's world!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame they can't put them down for a minute or two to experience real life!
ReplyDeleteSigh yes... we can't even have a decent conversation without the other person constantly looking at the phone.
ReplyDeleteSo many have them glued to their head
ReplyDeleteEverybody glued to their phone!
ReplyDeleteTruth. Depressing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. And like most things in life, too many of us have taken something wonderful... and made it into a problem.
ReplyDeleteSo very true of today's world sad to say.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
It's been a long time since I've sat on a park bench, how about you? Haven't been to a park since a year ago, July 4, in my home town eating with my relatives and old high school friends.
ReplyDelete..
Your words are true.
ReplyDeleteIndeed... but at least it means that benches are used.
ReplyDeleteMakes you think of the interesting stories a park bench might tell. One of its visitors might sit down to read a poetry blog or two ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome tanka Hank ... a very strong one indeed.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully penned!
