Excitement in the
Air could not hide frustrations
Of some team members
Soccer fans were just
As bewildered seeing giants
Left by the wayside
Big names had gone home
But new heroes were there to
To fill the vacuum
Spate of signings to
Vie for pearls that shine could well
Trigger free-for-all
Next transfer window
Would be closely watched for faces
Of high priced players
