Rose by any other name

                                                                                                   Author:  MM
Image: Exquisite beauties (here)

the 12 given words:
plea  roses thorns bud sins, ,
loathsome thief, sweet mud
canker (that corrodes destroys, or irritates)
love sense

3WW given words:
sassy (lively, bold, and full of spirit; cheeky )
raw quick
A plea for the exquisite
Rose by any other name
are always acceptable to the tormented

They are safely surrounded by
thorns to ward off uncertainty of
bloom from bud to 'sinful' flavor
of its flower

The myriad of colors seem
loathsome to mention but adored
as a thief of the heart blessed
with the sweetness of aroma

Even wallowing in the mud it can hold
out on its own nothing cankerous
but sassy in all of its potential

As a flower of love, it is raw in its bid
but quick to be accorded pride of place

In a sense it is providing the energy
of strong wind power to match the
inherent beauty nature had chosen
