Likable Homer Simpson

A man of simple joys and simple ways  

A donut in his hand, a beer in the other

His mind on nothing but leisurely days

With his family by his side

He finds himself in wacky situations

But his love for Marge and his kids

Keeps him going through life's complications

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed

But he has a heart of gold

And when it comes to having fun

Homer Simpson is never too old

Whether he's at Moe's Tavern

Or working at the nuclear plant

Homer always finds a way

To make us laugh and rant

So here's to Homer Simpson

A character we all adore

May he never stop being himself

And always leave us wanting more.
