Theme:   Anthropomorphic Animal and Cartoon Characters

A  for Anthropomorphic Animals

Anthropomorphism is the giving of human characteristics to non-human entities,
This can include giving human-like qualities such as intelligence, consciousness
or even speech to non-human entities.

It is often used in literature to create characters having human tendencies
Many cartoons feature anthropomorphic animals as main characters, such
as Bugs Bunny or Mickey Mouse.

It creates a sense of realness that invokes the imagination especially on young
children. It puts the child within the context of the situation. It draws their interest
so that they can feel being part of the story. It enhances the imagination into
play-acting particularly good for mental development

  1. I am looking forward to this theme and I think it works both ways, animals we create with human characteristics but also humans ascribed with animal traits...
