Life's Lessons in A (thorny) Nutshell

                                                                     Author: Dominicus Johannes Bergsma

and Create Opportunities (here)

Prompt: 1
Things to remember if you're
not rich and famous yet

Prompt:2

the given words are:
rough and smooth
– sit and stand

not to be pushed into a corner
nor to be kicked down to the bottom
it may be rough but to play it easy
to bid a smooth response for jagged edges

not to be too close to the precipice
choose to stay around the bend
to react fast and never to sit around
but stand up to be counted
for business will never progress on autopilot

retreat in case of a reversal
far quicker to be able
to fight for another day
and rise up the peak again

to forge a line of thinking
where the sky is the limit
move and the jigsaw will fall into place
not to wait around but to grab
for the returns to riches
would require one to be proactive

One can well then sleep
soundly at night

  1. I enjoyed this. I especially love how the prompt words tell a contrast between the rich and the not rich (yet). Rough and smooth (polished). Sit and stand (down and exalted).
