Emotional insight into his frame of mind

Insurmountable (here)

Emotional insight into his frame of mind
Revealed a tendency to court disaster
Insisting to run the gauntlet out in the open
To rival the virus itself of a silent killer

Felt safe in numbers he sought to secure
A  part in the crowd he sought to  join in
Out on the highway wages of sin to endure
'Stay at home' advice gone to the winds

To realize at a later date of the ingratitude
A statistics added to the growing number
The world had not seen such magnitude
Where would it all end we frightfully wonder

  1. Sadly he will end up a statistic acting like that.
When will it end? Hopefully sooner rather than later.

  2. One should be careful as you suggest. It could end badly, but even if it doesn't it is best to be careful. Take some time to reassess what is of value and what should be rejected.

  3. Hopefully it ends soon, but one doesn't want to end up a statistic indeed.
