dicing with rush hour traffic

the 10 of 12 given words:
signal turn bombshell brunette melodious garage
gibbous moon (any moon that appears more than half lighted but less than full)
swain (a young lover or suitor|a country youth)
mawkish (sentimental in a feeble or sickly way)
fen (a low and marshy or frequently flooded area of land)
Lilliputian (a trivial or very small person or thing)

No signal at the turn
The sudden screeching of brakes pierced the
night followed by a loud crashing sound

Dicing with rush hour traffic
was inviting disaster
A gibbous moon did not help

A bombshell of a brunette
humming a melodious tune
stepped off the gleaming 2-seater

The swain of a guy in a mawkish
way tried to make amends
Hailed from a fen country
undeterred by flood waters
he tried to reason with her

He was prepared in towing the
2-seater to the nearest garage

She had none of it.
A Lilliputian distraction
so she said!

Just get off this play-acting
But aren't you forgetting your desire?
My wish is to remain unattached!
This is my way of seeing
the Dark Moon, the New Moon!

  1. Such a wish may not always end up being the best way, traffic jam it could create.

  4. Remaining unattached can be a dark moon or a full moon depending on who our partner is supposed to be... :)

  5. Remaining unattached isn't easy. It does get in the way of seeing the shades of the moon within. Enjoyed this.
