Real Toads
bah humbug
Is it not a brilliant
idea to provide for everyone
Is it not an obligation that everyone has a stake
Where does it say one is at liberty to have fun
When it is only men who get to enjoy the cake
Take volleyball hockey golf athletics even soccer
Where the fairer sex have excelled to great heights
Whether individual or team games does it matter
Women as a sports personality have all the rights
Do not think certain games only men should marvel
It may just be thoughtful to offer women their all
A fervent hope to bring equality to a higher level
Fair dinkum bah humbug how about American football?

ReplyDeleteA wonderful sentiment, Hank--but just *looking* at football makes me hurt! The boys are welcome to it, for me. Hope you have a marvelous holiday season and a great new year.
