Innocence

Young hearts of innocence
Little things mean a lot
Taking them all at face value
That  words sweetly uttered
Bound feelings of love

But he left…
Not without reasons
But just
But why?

Tolerance spread thin
It’s a disappointment!
Left in the lurch
Strings unattached
All alone in this cruel world
Cared less and abandoned
Why must she be made to suffer
Her heart shattered into a million pieces
Left in the cold
Drenched to the skin

No, mankind hadn’t been hurting
Humankind wasn’t at fault
It’s about him and him alone

I’m young
I’m pretty
I’m strong!

Faith in a good man
Hadn’t waned
It’s a blessing
I’m now better prepared
My tears shed but I’ve learnt

I’ll overcome!
A good man is waiting!

  2. All alone in this cruel world
    Cared less and abandoned
Why must she be made to suffer
Her heart shattered into a million pieces
    Left in the cold
Drenched to the skin...real emotions in that...
and i think at some point we all learn these things...i am glad that in the end she feels encouraged....smiles.
