Thirsty?
No! Hungry? yes!
Not complaining but not
fair. Lots of food here but just a
morsel?

Tony is hosting at
d’Verse with Forms for All - a cinquain (a form that has a syllabic count of 2,4,6,8
and 2)
The way to get all to do what you want is to give some food and don't taunt and my what a big yap that camel has haha #1
ReplyDeleteha. fun...love to feed the animals...there is a safari park nearby where you feed the giraffe out of the truck bed...those are some long tongues they have as well...sorry a bite is all i have to give though...they get plenty of bites in a day though...nice refreshing use of the form...
ReplyDeleteLove the cinquains and the animals, Hank. The blue tongue of the giraffe always makes me smile, and the camel photo made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love dolphins.
K
Looks like you had a lot of fun with the cinquains, and they amused me.
ReplyDeleteYes food motivates even the wild beast :)
ReplyDeleteNice combination-cinquains and animals. The poems and the pictures are hilarious.
ReplyDelete:) made me laugh.. and yes,we have done some feeding goats at the petting zoo and it is never enough..
ReplyDelete..'trainers reward for good performance' --- i dunno but that made me sad... i like the cinquains you wrote but the very thought of rewarding animals for their performance is really saddening... they are forced to work & make audience happy in exchange for their living & foods...
ReplyDeleteI love feeding animals :-)
ReplyDeletegood writing... and imageas go along well.. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis was fun. I HAVE stood in line already to feed a giraffe. They definitely are amazing animals.
ReplyDeleteI laughed a bit at your last cinquain, as food works not only with animals but with people. Unfortunately, some parents use it! Sigh.
It works, yet it does ~ I find it fun to feed animals ~ Good one Hank ~
ReplyDeleteWe all do crazy things for food, eh?
ReplyDeleteah... fun reads... who doesn't like animal antics?
ReplyDeleteHank, your first 2 cinquains are joyous and amusing - it's probably a good thing that the animals don't tell us what they really think :-) The last one is just a little sad. I enjoy animal shows as much as the next person, but it is uncomfortable to think about how they are trained sometimes. That said, I've seen performances where the animals refused to co-operate, but they still got fed.
ReplyDeleteGood job on the form, also amusing and entertaining, very cool imagery, Well Done !!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, entertaining post, Hank!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice subject for these molecules of poetry. Love the camel one.
ReplyDeletebrilliantly interactive. loved these cinquains. This is the first time I've seen a pic of the inside of a camel's mouth!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Hank!! This one had me a smilin'
ReplyDeleteAdore the giraffes they are my favorite animal..I have a small collection of wooden ones I've picked up over the years..this brought a smile to my face...
