Talent

Ability most
profound but wrested through no
fault of the being

Latent talent not
discovered is a quagmire
to potential gain

Hidden talent may
cause one to tower above
innate regal sway

Extend bounds to reach
beyond human limits of
pristine nirvana

Written for Jenn's Sensational Haiku Wednesday with prompt -talent-

  4. Very well done. It's embarrassing that I never realized 'talent' and 'latent' were anagrams.

  12. I have to say with Mark, that some of us just never discover them - or maybe when it's far too late.

  13. Some say we all have at least one thing which we have a talent for. I guess we writers all know what we think it is, don't we...lol

  14. These are all great. That second one though really does speak volumes. Such a shame when talent goes undiscovered.
