Interest metaphor you use here, moving from the folk tales of rainbows and their guardians to the contemporary experience, different but people by the same untrustworthy characters. Great use of the pantoum here as well.

ReplyDeleteHank, a pantoum can sometimes turn out flat and mannered, but yours sings! Not only that - the subject matter, well, you know me. You nailed the weaselly little wretches. Vulture capitalists at their best, which is the worst for all unfortunate enough to be caught in their webs of deceit and greed. Great metaphor here... thanks! Peace, Amy
