Two sets of haiku
The rich and famous
How I love to see
The rich and famous
Glittering and glamorous
Untold opulence
Strutting the catwalk
Or of screen stars or crooners
Rich talents abound
Coterie of stars
Astounded and enraptured
All generations
*************How I love to see
shooting stars in the night sky
Showers and tailings
It must be fun but
must I wait in the open,
in the cool night air?
No, save the bother
Have someone thumb hard on your
head, you will see stars
Written for Leo's Haiku Heights #156 with prompt - stars -

ReplyDeleteLolzz Did you hear me chuckle? I have experienced the blackout and the stars around my head, not because of a blow but bcoz a terrible fall.
ReplyDeleteLoved the two takes on the prompt. The second one is hilarious. :)
Yes, I'm with Brian. Like the cool, laid back approach of the second.
ReplyDeleteHa..ha...I don't want to see stars that way ~
ReplyDeleteAnd your link from HH isn't working ~
If only those shooting stars
ReplyDeleteWould really grant wishes at our bars
And then that would be grand
I'd have much litter box sand
Enjoyed your take on this week's prompt. Very creative!
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace! I've corrected it. It is ok now!
