Lisa at d'Verse with Quadrille Q 251
Light Burst of Air
Great poem! I enjoyed the symbolism of the dandelion seeds. The poem suggests that whether life is gentle or difficult, we can still find a way to grow. Simple, graceful, and uplifting.
ReplyDeleteVery clever, to stick to the rules of quadrille and also work in a rhyme scheme!
ReplyDeleteMaybe finding a better hobby is a good thing
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a lot of puffed up news these days.
ReplyDeletetoo many dangling threads makes for easily torn fabric. I agree with what Rosemary and Bjorn say also. Nicely done, Hank!
ReplyDeleteNow I like to shop at farmer's markets and antique stores...fun to look!
ReplyDeleteHank, I like how your poem shows that “puffed up news” and world problems make everyday life harder and more costly for regular people.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
David
