ready to blaze the trail

an impassioned plea
a determined look in the eyes
never to question
one who had decided to break new grounds

a confident look
clear enough
astute in the challenge
fully equipped
ready to blaze the trail
for other females

being the first was earth-shattering
to the male chauvinist

women had a place in the calling

  1. I have to smile at the shock of the male chauvinist. I was married to one - until the women's movement began. Lol.

  10. I liked your interpretation, Hank. You have made me wonder what her subject was, and who took this and who. That would be good for another write, I might so it. Good on the 55. I also did that.
