definition of knowledge (here)
the 12 given words:
boil lost ditch middle light rumors
vine nothing tell mighty seams sliver
It had finally come to a boil
Lost in the woods
ditched in the middle
of nowhere
Not wanting to make light
of rumors garnered through
the grape-vine nothing was
more frustrating than to
hear tell it was the truth
The might of the mighty
could be seared at the seams
just through sliver thin
confirmation of unsolicited
information
Credibility was a potent ally

Happy year's end Hank and Wishes for A Bright And Prosperous 2018
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Lunch Break 'Twelve Days Of Christmas'
Much love...
Thanks Hank for this great poem and all the support given to me throughout the past year. May next year bring you much happiness.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
The best information is only as good as its source. Wouldn't want survival tips for the woods from a city dweller.
ReplyDeleteCleverly done Hank. Credibility is a potent ally indeed. If only we could distinguish the truth from the lies...and how easy to be swayed by the rumours (it is)...
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful New Year.

Your final line is an absolute truth Hank. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteWell written, Hank! Thank you for your tireless support of the Whirl, and for contributions like this one. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI like this poem, Hank. Credibility is very important at these times.
ReplyDeleteI believe one is nothing without their credibility.. Powerful write, Hank!
ReplyDeleteNot a lot of credibility in evidence these days......one must be so discerning. Loved this, Hank. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe words intricately woven.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that people still bluster their way through life without much credibility. Slowly we are reverting to taking short cuts and telling half truths of downright lies to bluff their way through life. Glad I'm old enough so I can just watch rather than compete these days.
ReplyDeleteA story well told.
ReplyDeleteIf only credibility lanced the growth of rumor before they boiled!
ReplyDeleteLate in getting my comments to you. Well done, Hank. I completely clam up when given a bunch of words like that. Happy new year!
