Image: A Mega Big Mac (here)
ballooning to enormous proportions
not a difficult proposition
eating between meals
getting best deals
of eating pleasure
while engrossed at the computer
clutching big beef burgers
for inspiration but ended in clutter
fastest way for accomplishment
was to do one thing at a time
(44 words)
De's at d'Verse's Quadrille #29
and to include the word - balloon
lol XD
ReplyDeleteJust looking at that burger makes me sick. No wonder everyone is ballooning out.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is best to do one thing at a time. Multitasking doesn't work well for me, not that I don't nibble or have a cup of coffee nearby when I'm on the computer.
ReplyDeleteHeavens, yes. This is all too true.
ReplyDeleteOne must watch the calories for sure! A different slant on the word. Nice, Hank ;)
ReplyDeleteOh man. Pounds jumping on hips just looking at the picture.
ReplyDeleteAs always, great word-smithing, Hank.
Cripes. That burger would kill me.
ReplyDeleteBad for me as I will rather walk a bit between sitting down in my computer ~ Good one Hank ~
ReplyDeleteWhen will the excess stop??? I remember when a quarter-pounder was quite satisfying! Love your poem, by the way!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll stick to one task at a time and leave that burger on my never to eat list.
ReplyDeleteSo easy to balloon... a battle to get thin again... but those juicy burgers are tempting
ReplyDeleteI can eat that.. no problem :) excellent write, Hank ❤️
ReplyDeleteWow, that is one big burger, who eats that? I know they have a Big Mac Junior, just saying it might be a better option.
ReplyDeleteMindless eating is a killer.
ReplyDeleteOh hell, that burger made me so hungry! I'm going to go eat and read more tomorrow. ~smiles~
ReplyDeleteYou caught me far and square (with extra pickles)
ReplyDeleteSuch a true to life tale!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...you make a good point here, Hank!
ReplyDeleteFar too big for my liking Hank. Great post.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Good thing I'm almost done with lunch, and it doesn't involved a double-decker burger! What a fun poem.
