ReplyDeleteWell done !! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletehaha fun take and Happy new year, hope a good one is had at your pad!
ReplyDeleteI might have used the word "albeit" in place of "despite", but the piece as a whole is wry and charming, and that's tough to carry of in 140 words, let alone 140 characters.
ReplyDeleteI tossed around both initially. 'albeit' has connotations of 'although' while 'despite' is more of 'even though' When substituted , It's been a colorful year although in b/w as opposed to, It's been a colorful year even though in b/w. Both seems ok but I thought the latter is more appropriate just a shade. Thanks for your input Wk!

Clever and fun...starting with the nose..best wishes!!
ReplyDeleteFun. I must check out this prompt!
ReplyDeleteGreat job meeting the challenge, Hank. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteA huge fan of micro fiction..you gave us ten chapters in just a few lines. When a person can so vividly create a scene that transcends the words written as well as this one has, its a bit of a miracle I think..great work.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Hank. You totally rocked this prompt photo.
