You genuinely searched
Paring off fats still sticking
Stigma writhing bad
Soaring above all
Impacting your soul real hard
You ought to focus
Make amends, do it!
Unsung, whimpering, whirling,
Ignite the resolve
A big step forward
You perceived right, well done
Oversight made good!
Such a relief! To
procrastinate started it
Lesson learnt no doubt!

A lesson that must come due
ReplyDeleteTime and time again it's true
As time is the key

ReplyDeleteMaking amends is so hard to do and the longer you put it off, the worse it gets.
ReplyDeleteLove your combination of prompts, Hank. Skillful use of haiku, too.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree, a valuable lesson. Nice haiku's
ReplyDeleteHow adept of you to address both prompts. Not easily achieved. And I have a tough time relating to the notion of procrastination. I am unable to do it. Too Type-A I guess.

ReplyDeleteOh procrastination has gotten me in much trouble!! :)
ReplyDelete...amends should be done right away yet sometimes it's better to make delays of such... perhaps, to prepare for a better and much favorable plan, i guess.. double plus like... smiles...
ReplyDeleteProcrastinating never seems to be the right choice! Making amends though always seems to be the right one!
ReplyDeleteoh i am the queen of procrastination.
ReplyDeleteProcrastinating is my hobby - and yes, it does bring with it problems - but it is a lesson I never learn - I will learn it tomorrow...
