Make Amends

You genuinely searched
Paring off fats still sticking
Stigma writhing bad

Soaring above all
Impacting your soul real hard
You ought to focus

Make amends, do it!
Unsung, whimpering, whirling,
Ignite the resolve

A big step forward
You perceived right, well done
Oversight made good!

Such a relief! To
procrastinate started it
Lesson learnt no doubt!

Written in the second person for Victoria's hosting at d'Verse: Meeting the Bar and Jenn's Sensational Haiku Wednesday #181 with prompt -search-

  1. A lesson that must come due
Time and time again it's true
    As time is the key
    To learning at ones sea
    And I'm first
    With my burst

  10. How adept of you to address both prompts. Not easily achieved. And I have a tough time relating to the notion of procrastination. I am unable to do it. Too Type-A I guess.

  18. Procrastinating is my hobby - and yes, it does bring with it problems - but it is a lesson I never learn - I will learn it tomorrow...
