what had been missing
from the golden brown colors
but a soothing white
now making an appearance
the long awaited first frost
competing for space
dancing slowly in the dark
floating down murky
accompanied with coolness
eerily in throes of nerves
For Chev's Carpe Diem Tanka at
Universal Jane #6 - first frost and
Kerry's at Real Toad's - the tuesday platform
It does bring the turn of the tide as things start to cool the nerves, and everything else, far and wide.
