Strickened strategy
Sacrificed a winning streak
And stifled success
Rapport not rebuked
Or rebuffed reconciled a
Recluse’s reluctance
Outright oversight
Obscured likely odious and
Obnoxious ogre
Wrecked in bid to wrest
Wisdom from the wayward he
Wobbled in weird
woes

whoa, nice perspective shot. i like all the alliteration as well hank...sounds like a dastardly dude, willing to let all go to waste in oversight & missed opportunity
ReplyDeleteHe wobbled indeed, from the very first verse, teetering in alliteration, I guessed his defeat.
ReplyDeleteHank
ReplyDeleteI think his strategy was a bit wobbly ..makes me wonder about his view.
Enjoy your day my friend
Great shot, n ice take on views as they can be construed
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of words and visual. The alliteration is just perfect. Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
you are an alliterative genius!
ReplyDeleteStrong word play.
ReplyDeleteI hope he comes up for round two.
ReplyDeleteNice series, Hank. Life is like that
for those who push for advancement.
..
Apparently I'm out of the loop on BMW and how sacrifice pertains to it. However, your haiku are indeed interesting and the alliteration adds to its power.
ReplyDeleteNot directly! But the unusual angle jives with the mood of the nonsensical. It's rather funny from that angle.

S-ome R-ealize, O-thers W-eep. :)
ReplyDeleteYour alliteration is effective!
ReplyDeleteThe pic of the Beamer building is rather odd in a satisfying way, Hank. Makes it look almost jolly, rotund. (But then, so are the CEOs...) Noticed that the alliteration began to form the word "sorrow" for me... sure that was unintended, but then, you never know where these ramblings will take us, right? Peace, AMy
ReplyDeleteNicely written Hank.
ReplyDeleteWonderful alliteration.
ReplyDeleteNice, the different views tend not to be seen often
